Description

Short title: Phippes v Mynton.

Plaintiffs: Margaret Phippes, sister-in-law of Richard Badam, gent, deceased.

Defendants: John Mynton, Elizabeth Mynton his wife, John Mynton their son, William Preene, brother of the said Elizabeth Mynton, Edward Preene, John Preene, Edward Mason, Thomas Madox, and Robert Griffith.

Subject: Abduction of Margaret Mynton, daughter and heir of the said Elizabeth Mynton and ward to plaintiff Margaret Phippes, being heiress of land at Tillington held of the manor of Blaenllyfni, forcible entry and seizure of goods at Ragdon, and rescue of the said John Preene the son and William Preene from arrest at Church Stretton.

Herefordshire, Shropshire.
