Plaintiffs: William Pound of Timberscombe, clothier, nephew of Joan Carre of Withycombe, deceased, and Richard Keane, gent of Broadways Down.
Defendants: Francis Wyndham, gent of St Decumans, Edmund Wyndham, Thomas Wyndhan, Zachery Wyndham, John Wyndham and George Wyndham his brothers, Elizabeth Bassett daughter of Edward Bassett, gent of Fishweane, Glamorgan, Christopher Thomas servant of said Joan Carre, Jenken Thomas, Francis Robartes, John Baker, [unknown] Cretor, his man, George Washer, Robert Chamberlain, John Millett, Thomas Burdge [Bridge], and others.
Subject: Seizure of goods of the said Joan Carre at her death, attempted proof of a false will, false inventory of her goods, resistance to the plaintiff William Pound taking posession under letters of administration, seizure of cattle at Carhampton, Withycombe and Croydone [near Timberscombe], damage, etc.
