Defendants: Sir Edward Littleton kt, son and heir of Sir Edward Littleton kt, John Bowen, clerk, Henry Duncalffe, his wife Joan Duncalfe, Humphrey Collins, his wife Elizabeth Collins, Edward Burie, William Averne, Edward Tone, Edward Smyth, Katherine Bennett, John Egginton, and others.
Subject: Hiring the said John Bowen at an unduly low rate to serve the cure of Pembridge, nonconformity, libels in sermons and otherwise, abuse of the Book of Sports, maintenance, perjury and embracery in actions in the King's Bench, compounding an information by the Attorney-General in this Court for a lease of the manors of Acton Trussell and Bednall, and attack on the house of Dorothy Parkes, the plaintiff's mother, at Wednesbury. Demurrer that the matter is already depending in this court.
