Defendants: John Greenhalgh esq of Brandleholme, JP, Mary Greenhalgh his wife, late the wife of Richard Holt, Henry Jones his servant, Mary Ashton late the wife of Sir Richard Ashton kt, Ralph Ashton their son, Samuel Bamford, Anne Bamford his wife, and Robert Holt and Mary Holt, children of Robert Holt.
Subject: Procuring a will from Robert Holt of Ashworth, father of plaintiff William Holt and grandfather of the said Richard Holt, Mary Ashton, Anne Bamford, and the last named Robert Holt, when no longer of sound mind, disposing of the manor of Ashworth, and messuage and land there and in Cheesden, Marcroftiate [Marcroft Gate], Spotland, Wolstenholme, Butterworth, etc.
