Plaintiffs: Edward Ewer gent.
Defendants: Sir William Cope bart of Shelswell, JP, Deputy Lieutenant, Thomas Austen, Hugh Candishe, Richard Robertes and his servants Thomas Wells, John Cleylon, and others.
Subject: Perjury in a Chancery suit by Richard Poure concerning the manors of Bainton, Oddington and Tangley and two manors in Bletchington; seizure of malt at Werton for price of which plaintiff Edward Ewer had given bonds; and rescue of the said Thomas Austen and Richard Roberts, arrested for depasturing woad sold to said plaintiff in Drayton.
