Plaintiffs: Rowland Eyre gent of Hassop and Elizabeth Eyre his wife, late the wife of Robert Sitwell.
Defendants: Thomas Alsop gent of Chesterfield, attorney-at-law, Joan Alsop his wife, niece of the said Elizabeth Eyre, Lawrence Alsop his father, bailiff of Scarsdale, William Whitterins, yeoman, and others.
Subject: Forgey of a seal to a proposed marriage settlement of the said Joan Alsop with Gervase Eyre, son of the said Rowland Eyre, forgery of a bond in the name of the said Elizabeth Eyre at Staveley Netherthorpe and false imprisonment in Derby gaol, and extortions by the said Thomas Alsop as deputy of his father.
