Description

Short title: Egerton v Morgan.

Plaintiffs: Sir John Egerton kt of Egerton, executor of Piers Moston or Mostyn of Talacre, his uncle.

Defendants: Edward Morgan esq counsellor-at-law JP, Edward Morgan and Robert Morgan his sons, Edward Moston esq, son and heir of the said Piers Moston, Sir John Conway kt, sheriff, William Hughes, Robert Rogers, Simon Milton alias Simon Middleton, John David ap Bell, John Lloyd, Hugh Griffith, alehouse-keeper, constable of Gronant, and others.

Subject: Procuring a conveyance of the said Piers Moston's lands in fraud of a demise to plaintiff of a messuage and land in Llanasaph, forcible entry and assault there, denial of justice, maintenance, attempts to murder plaintiff in the church of Llanasaph, breaking down the arms of his family in the church windows, practices against the estate of Edward Piers, an idiot, perjury before a commission to inquire of recusants, etc.
