Plaintiffs: Joyce Codrington, late the wife of Richard Codrington esq, daughter of John Borlase esq of Little Marlow, Buckinghamshire and sister of Sir William Borlase kt of Bockmore, Buckinghamshire, JP.
Defendants: John Rodman, late the servant of plaintiff Joyce Codrington and son of Hugh Rodman of Alliston, blacksmith, William Bruton of Titherington, husbandman, and others.
Subject: Abduction of Elizabeth Codrington daughter of plaintiff Joyce Codrington from Doddington to Malmesbury, and attempted marriage with said John Rodman.
