Description

Short title: Butler v Houghton.

Plaintiffs: Henry Butler esq, father of Nicholas Butler and uncle and guardian in chivalry to Thomas Hagarston.

Defendants: Sir Richard Houghton kt, George Kerbie gent, his servant, William Butler, son and heir apparent of plaintiff Henry Butler and Thomas Sumner his servant.

Subject: Abduction of the said ward Thomas Hagarston, from Rawcliffe Hall to Houghton Tower.

Lancashire.
