Description

Short title: Bowes v Willis.

Plaintiffs: Thomas Bowes esq gentleman-pensioner of Barnard Castle.

Defendants: John Willis, Thomas Stobbes, Robert Denman, William Denman, and others, his tenants and John Simpson and John Preston his tenants.

Subject: Information as to conversion of tillage into pasture in Houghton-on-the-Hill.

Durham.

Note: demurrer that plaintiff Thomas Bowes is an outlaw; see STAC 8/84/3.
