Defendants: William Halsey, citizen and plumber of London, Edward Madison and William Grey, warders of the Plumbers' Company, George Petty, and others, a committee of the same company and Richard Rowe, citizen and merchant of London, and others, a committee of the Court of Aldermen.
Subject: Making certificates in the name of the said Plumbers' Company and Court of Aldermen, without their consent, in favour of a patent to plaintiff Captain Henry Bell for supervising the smelting of all lead, which patent is now suspended after he has incurred great expense therein.
