Description

Short title: Baineton v Toony.

Plaintiffs: Henry Baineton of Frampton Cotterell and Katherine Gilbert, servant of Robert Rogers, soap-boiler and alderman of Bristol.

Defendants: Richard Toony, John Thurston, Thomas Davys and William Bercombe, apprentices of the said Robert Rogers.

Subject: Attempt to poison the said Katherine Gilbert with cocculus indicus in revenge for locking defendants out of her said master's house, whereby she is deprived of all sense and understanding.

Gloucestershire.
