Defendants: Sir Richard Amcotts kt of Eastropp, Yorkshire, Alexander Amotts brother of the plaintiff, Alexander Amcotts and John Amcotts, sons of the plaintiff and Milo Hadden, servant of Alexander Amotts the younger.
Subject: Forcible entry into the house of plaintiff Matthew Amcotts at Willoughby, assault on his wife (Elizabeth Amcotts), and seizure of deeds relating to the manor of Penshaw (in Houghton-le-Spring) and other lands; forgery of deeds, and action of waste thereon.
