Nicholas son of Ivo de Dene to his customary tenants of the parish of Deene: Grant that on their death their wives, sons, or daughters should give him for relief the ancient custom of 5s. for a virgate of land and 2s. 6d. for a half-virgate, and that they should choose three men, as the custom is, yearly, from whom he should choose a reeve and from each of the two should receive 12d.: (Northamptonshire)
