Indenture witnessing that John Eland of Little Stirton, Lincolnshire, esquire, has placed Elizabeth Eland, his daughter, as apprentice to John Langwith, citizen and tailor of London, and Elena his wife', silke-woman', for seven years. John Norman, mayor, . . . . . . . Walden and Thomas Cook, sheriffs, of London: [Middlesex.] 3 July, 32 Hen [VI]. Endorsed: ' Walbrook' - Memorandum of enrolment under the letter E among the entries of apprentices in the time of Thomas Thorndon, chamberlain, 17 April, 34 Henry VI.
