Description

Acquittance by Francis Willughbie, knight, for 6L. 20d. received from John Sydnam, esquire, sheriff of the county of Nottingham, in payment for one year of the grant to him by the queen of 4d. a day, for his life, as keper of the queen's woods within theforest of Sherwood, called 'Thorney woods. ': Nottinghamshire 10 October, 28 Eliz I. Signed.
