Undertaking by brother Ralph called the abbot of Merevale, and the convent there, to give to the church of Great Essebi, the tithes of the sheaves from the lands in the field of Great Essebi, which they took in exchange from the nuns of Katesbi in A. D. 1242, as the said abbot and convent had formerly done from the lands which they gave in exchange to the said nuns who are to continue to enjoy common of pasture in the said field.
