Description

County: [Herefordshire]. Description of Courts: Courts and Hundreds. A fragment relating to Courts of the Honour of Wigmore held 12 Nov. and 3 Dec. 22 Hen VIII (marked B. R. A. 513) was received on 5 Oct. 1945 from the Sussex Archaelogical Society through the intermediary of the British Record Association and added to this Roll. Places: Wigmore with: Newton; Letton; Aston (Assiston); Marlow; Leintwardine (Leyntward'); Dounton (Dunton); Walford; Elton; Lye (Leye); Limebrook (Lyngebrok); Pechefeld; Burrington (Boryton); Yatton; Leinthal-Earls; Leinthal-Starkes; Buckton; Trippleton (Turpleton); Adelahton alias Adlaton; Pedwardine; Bucknell (Bokenhille); Wytton; Adforton; Kinton; Paytowe and Stanway; Cockesale and Adlaton; Wigmore"Burgus". 7 membranes or sheets. 20 - 22 Hen VIII.
