Description

These miscellaneous letter books of the Office of Woods, Forests and Land Revenues and predecessors include out-letters relating to fee-farm rents, 1789 to 1891; Marylebone Park, 1813 to 1821; the Extra-parochial Tithe Commission, 1849 to 1852. Also included are seven entry books of letters signed by two senior officers of the Office of Woods' Land Revenue Department, 1810 to 1823; and a letter book, 1825 to 1847, relating to Crown rents in Wales and to fines and forfeitures.
