CRES 12
1886-1900
This series contains eleven volumes of out letters of the commissioners of woods, forests and land revenues during the period 1886 to 1900, mainly relating to manors and estates in the north of England, but including the royal mines in the duchy of Cornwall and a few other locations in the south. All are indexed.
Most of the volumes have the original binding with the title 'Northern District General Letter Book' on the spine, followed by the volume number in the series of twelve books (the second volume, for the period 17 August 1887 to 19 September 1888 is wanting).
