William de Skargyll, steward to the earl of Derby in the honor of Pontefract, and John Gynewell, steward of lands to the said earl, to Henry de Clif: Lease at farm of the demesnes of the manor of Barlow from Michaelmas 17 Edward III for seven years; annual rent £16 12s. 10d; Henry may take from the turbary of the manor 20 cartloads of fuel yearly, and has rights of herbage and pannage in the manor's woods for 13s. 4d. Provided Henry adheres to the conditions of this lease, his bond for £40 to the earl will become void: [Yorks]
