Indentrue made between Henry, Earl of Lancaster, Derby , and Leicester, steward of England, of the one part, and the abbot and convent of Furness of the other part, by which the said earl confirms the grant in frankalmoign made to the monks by King Spetphem when Earl of Boulogue and Moratin, of the Fishery of Lancaster, and also the right to take estovers in the forest of Lancaster, and other necessaries for their manor of Beaumont and the fishery, without view of the foresters, and by William, sometime Earl of Warren, Boulogne, and Mortain, and other ancestors of the Earl of Lancaster; With the liberty sheriff's turn and amends for blodhed, and breach of the assize of bread and ale,& c. Witnessed at Lincoln (Nicole ) on Monday next before the Feast of Saint Catherine (19 Noveember), 21 Edw. III
