Subject: Unlawful affection for Catholic recusants, hating Sir John Vaughan for his forwardness in their persecution and vowing his death; affrays at the Great Sessions; assault upon Sir John Vaughan, and attempted murder at the market at Llandilo; vexatious suits in the Court of the Marches; and corruption in a trial for murder at the Sessions at Carmarthen; complaints of the increase of recusancy in the county.
