Subject: purchase by the plaintiff for 14s of 16 yards of woollen cloth called Northern Kersey from Edward Baxter at Bartholomew Fair, Smithfield, which Baxter did not deliver; litigated in the piepowder court where, ignoring the judges' direction, the defendants committed perjury on subornation by Baxter.
