Description

Short Title: David v Morgan. [Cause code: SCEL-09207].

Documents: interrogatories, depositions.

Plaintiffs: William David of Penhowe.

Defendants: James Morgan of Magor, high constable of Caldicott.

County: Monmouthshire, Wales.

Subject: Corruption of James Morgan in musters; conspiracy of the high and petty constables; corrupt purchase of a mare in Chepstow market and corrupt accusation of stealing the mare at the Assizes; assault by William Morgan upon William Davyd on his way to the Assizes; leaving James Morgan for dead in an alehouse at Penhowe on his way back from the Assizes.
