Defendants: Thockmorton being a justice of peace and charged with the concealing of his servants’ hunting and killing of the plaintiff’s dear and not examining them as he should have done being a justice of peace; upon complaint and that he did practice with the other defendant being undersheriff to return at his denomination a partial grand jury to serve his own turn in matters of indictment at the then sessions betwixt the plaintiff and him for with offences they were convicted and the defendant Hewood for returning one for foreman of the grand jury by the procurement of Thockmorton that was not resident within the county £10 fine and Fleet and of Thockmorton £40 and Fleet for his offences.
