Description

Short title: Freeborne v Hayes.

Plaintiffs: John Freeborne.

Defendants: Edward Hayes and John Hayes.

Subject: An injunction to stop the defendant Edward Hayes from proceeding with an action for trespass and ejectment for a copyhold tenement. The defendant, who had been abroad for many years, was attempting to reclaim his property. He went abroad to avoid being put in Newgate prison with his son who had been a party to a clandestine marriage with an orphan of the City of London, with his assistance..
