Subject: Recovery of money which John Foden goldsmith, of St Andrew Holborn, London, the defendant's late husband, should have paid out to various purchasors of lottery tickets. The plaintiffs had a licence to run the double chance lottery and used several goldsmiths in and about London to sell the tickets.
