Description

Short title: Bayley v Parker.

Plaintiffs: Simon Bayley mariner.

Defendants: Robert Parker merchant.

Subject: Settlement of accounts between the parties. The plaintiff was master of the ship Sarah of which the defendant was an owner of an eighth part. The master and ship were arrested for debt as they were about to leave on a voyage: mentions Robert Callis. The defendant paid the money due and expected to be reimbursed as well as to be paid his one eighth share of the value of the freight: property in Gravesend, Kent.
