Plaintiffs: Sir William Moore baronet, Thomas Dalmahoy, John Wight, Thomas Bradfold, George Benbricke, Henry Hastler and others, for and on behalf of the poor of the parish of St Nicholas, Guildford, Surrey, and St Nicholas' Hospital, Guildford.
Defendants: Warden etc of the Merchant Taylors Company of London.
Subject: charitable bequest of the deceased Caleb Lovejoy, [leaving property in Southwark for the teaching and apprenticing of boys, the preaching of a sermon, the provision of a dinner on the anniversary of his death, and the surplus to go to the foundation of almshouses for poor women in Guildford, Surrey].
