Description

WILTSHIRE: The county. Inquisitions as to the observance by persons having less than 100 marks a year, of the statutes 33 Henry VIII cap 5 and 4 and 5 Philip and Mary cap 2, requiring horses to be kept by men whose wives wore silk, velvet and other costly stuffs or ornaments (wives' apparel). 4-5 Eliz I.
