Description

Commissions, interrogatories, commissioners' findings and inquisitions concerning spoil of woods and parks of the Queen across the whole of Bedfordshire, with emphasis on William Fisher, woodward or keeper of the woods. Places mentioned include Barton, Clophill, Flitwick, Steppingley, Ridgmont, Cainhoe, Maulden, Cranfield, Warden, Brogborough, Beckerings Park, Ampthill, Shillington, Campton, Moggerhanger, Lidlington, Houghton and Eversholt, and there is reference to repairs to the chancel of the parish church of St Paul, Bedford, and other features in the county.
