Commissions and resultant surveys of the king's stables at the Royal Mews, Hampton Court, Oatlands (Surrey), Chertsey (Surrey), Eton (Buckinghamshire), Reading (Berkshire), St Albans (Hertfordshire), Greenwich (Kent), Waltham (Essex) and Sheen (Surrey) in 1607, and of the Royal Mews, Hampton Court, Oatlands, Nonsuch (Surrey), Greenwich, Theobalds (Hertfordshire), St Albans, Reading, Eton, Windsor and Chertsey in 1617. The 1617 commission and survey, formerly at E 178/4208, were transferred to this piece before 1912.
