Commissions, inquisitions and depositions concerning the goods formerly held by John Woodward of Mayfield, Staffordshire, a Crown debtor, who died at 'The Ram' in Smithfield. One commission was issued for an enquiry in the city of London, the other for the counties of Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Items formerly at E 178/3104, E 178/7176 were transferred to this piece before 1912.
