Commissions with resultant certificate and schedules concerning the goods and chattels of William Morgan, bishop of St Asaph, and the debts owed to him at the time of his death. The individual schedules relate to debts due from various people throughout Wales, goods in the bishop's hands at the time of his death and in the hands of John Lloyd of Faenol, Flintshire (including some which were not valued as Lloyd refused to show them to the commissioners), and estreats of fines from the lordship of Isterfyn (Denbighshire and Flintshire) for the year to Michaelmas 1603 and the six months to Michaelmas 1602. The item formerly at E 178/5138 was transferred into this piece before 1912.
