Description

Three commissions concerning the attachment of Christopher Whitton, gentleman, collector in Worcestershire of the second of the two fifteenths and tenths granted to Elizabeth I in March 1581, who had failed to account. Details are recorded of his property in Powick, Worcestershire. Items formerly at E E 178/2495 and E 178/2496 were added to this piece at some point before 1912
