Eleven letters concerning riots.
Two letters to the Lord Advocate of Scotland from George Tindal, Procurator Fiscal of Kincardineshire, regarding a detachment of troops to be sent from Aberdeen to aid the civil powers during a riot of the 'navies'.
A letter from Andrew Rutherford, Lord Advocate, transmitting a letter from C Graham Monro, Procurator Fiscal to the Justices at Stonehaven, [Aberdeenshire], regarding riots of railways labourers at Stonehaven, and stating that detachments of troops have been sent from Edinburgh and Aberdeen to aid the civil powers.
A letter from Rutherford, transmitting a letter from Archibald Davidson, Procurator Fiscal of Kincardine, stating that the recent riot proceeded from the Highland labourers, not the Irish.
