Three letter concerning the knighthood of Colonel Le Breton:
A letter to George Grey from E Gibbs, Lieutenant Governor of Jersey, requesting the queen to confer some honorary distinction on Colonel Le Breton in consequence of his having commanded the Jersey militia on the day of the Queen's visit. Enclosing is a letter to Edward Gibbs from Fitzroy Somerset of the Horse Guards stating that he should submit a recommendation of Breton to George Grey.
A letter to Grey from Gibbs requesting information as to what time Colonel Le Breton can be presented with the honour of knighthood.
A draft of a response from Grey to Gibbs relating to the knighting of Le Breton.
