Description

Grant by Edward II to Alice, late the wife of Thomas sometime earl of Lancaster, daughter and heir of Henry de Lacy, sometime earl of Lincoln, of 500 marks a year to be received out of the issues of the castle, town, and manor of Clitheroe, and of the manors and towns of Penwortham, Blackburn, and Ightenhill, etc, in case she should be evicted from the castle of Newcastle-under-Lyme, etc, the town of Hungerford, the manors of Everley and Collingbourne [Ducis], Wiltshire, and the manor of Earl Shilton [Shelton], Leicestershire, her dower. 16 Edw II
