Indenture of demise, 6 January, 11 Henry VIII, by John Haitfeld, of Doncastre, gentleman, to Richard Chester of Lyversall, of 'the eldest sustir part of the maner of Lyversall,' now in Richard's holding, from 'Pentecost' next for seventeen years, at 3s. 8d. rent for seven years, at 'Seint Martyn in wyntur and Pentecost' equally, and thereafter at 3l. 6s. 8d. rent, with bonds in 30l. on either side for observance of covenants.
