Description

Counterpart of indenture of award, dated 19 November, 1521, 13 Henry VIII, by John Devereux, citizen and scrivener of London, upon matters in dispute between Richard Reynoldes, citizen and mercer of London, and Christopher Coo, of [-], Norfolk, gentleman, concerned apparently with a venture of a certain ship; twenty bales of woad to be deliverd to John Smalpiece in the town of Colchester to Christopher's use; Richard's dwelling house in St. Christopher parish of London; 'bowes and bowstaves, dealles, and sparres' are mentioned.
