Description

Inspeximus and confirmation by Henry III of the grant by Ela, countess of Salisbury, of the manor of Lacok, for an abbey of nuns there, to be called the place of St. Mary. Wiltshire. 31 January, 14 Henry III [See Monasticon, Vol. VI, p. 502 note].
