Description

Release by William le Corners (conversus), of London, to the prior and convent of Holy Trinity London, of a corrody which they were bound to find him by provision of H. late bishop of London, by apostolic mandate, to wit of Pope Gregory X, with oath not to sue them in any ecclesiastical or civil court, and with surrender to the prior's hands of all instruments he had from the said pope, bishop or the bishop's official; saving that the prior and his successors, when thereto required by Henry and Ralph, his sons, for maintaining their estate, shall produce the papal letter. Certified under the seal of the archdeacon of London. London, Saturday after St. Gregory, the Pope, 1278.
