Description

Feoffment by Thomas de Farneburgh, citizen of London, to John Salle, 'coteller,' citizen of the said city, and Margaret, his wife, of a tenement with buildings, which came to him by inheritance on the death of Alice, mother of Salamon de Farneburgh, his father, in the parish of St. Mary of Colcherche beside the conduit, London; situate between the tenement called 'la Horsheved on the Hope,' in the tenure of the said John and Margaret, on the west, the tenement held by Thomas Deynes for life, on the east, the street on the north, and 'la Horsheved' on the south. Nicholas Brembre being mayor, Nicholas de Twyforde and Andrew Pykeman, sheriffs of London, William de Knyghtcote, alderman of the ward. Witnesses. London, 28 May, 1 Richard II. London.
