Description

Feoffment by John de Rippelawe, citizen and ironmonger (feronus), of London, to Robert de Farenberwe, citizen and spurrier (sporario) of the same city, of a shop with a sollar (solario) in the parish of St. Mary of Colchirche, London, which he had by the gift and feoffment of Henry de Euere, late citizen of London, built between the shop of Elyas de Mimmes, son of the late John de Mimmes, on the east, and the shop of the late Andrew le Bret, on the west, the street on the north, and the tenement late Reginald le Hauberger's, on the south; rent, to the nuns of Clerkenwelle, 1 mark, and to him and his heirs a clove at Christmas; witnesses, John le Blound, mayor of London and alderman of that ward; John de Lincoln, Roger de Paris, sheriffs, Salemann le Coteler, and others (named). London, Wednesday after the Ascension, 33 Edward I. London. Endorsed: La chartre Johan de Tripelawe fete a Roberd de Farnberghe.
