Feoffment by Richard de la Helle, of Maldon, to Arthur Chapman (mercatori), of Crusteshale, and Alice, his wife, for their services and for 25s. in gersum beforehand, of ½a. land in Crumwelledoune field, in the parish of St. Peter of Maldon, next land of the abbey of Bylege, the road from Maldon market to North Wodeham, etc., to hold, etc., and give, etc., except in religion and the Jewry; rent, a clove at Easter, and to the chief lords 9d. Essex.
