Description

Order by Joan de Valence, countess of Pembroke, to allow Ralph de Sutton, her receiver, certain sums upon his account, viz. 20s. to William Goule for his expenses going to York for the plea of the church of Wrydelinton; 3s. to Richard (Ri'do) le Barber for fur for his Christmas robe; 26s. 8d. delivered to her beloved damsel, Clarice de Saukevile, for silk (celic'), and other small matters needful for her chamber. Total 49s. 8d., etc. Swyndon, Thursday, the feast of St. Marcellin and St. Peter, 28 Edward [I].
