Feoffment by Philip del Fyney to William Rounale of the house, with two chambers (domum cum duabus cameris adjunctis), which he had by the feoffment of Robert de Oldebarkesforde, in Oldebarkesforde, which house is commonly called 'le Newehalle,' and of a place of land lying 'del corner del Berue' to 'le Redeston' in 'le Foldyord,' and so 'del Redeston' to 'le Owene' and so 'del Owene' descending by 'le Stanwal' to 'le Corner' under the well (fontem), and so mounting by 'le Stanwal' next the meadow to 'le Yatestude' and so by 'le Yardyord' to the corner of the curtilage of the said Philip, and so to 'le Chaumbresende,' and so to 'le corner del Berue' by 'le Chaumbresyouz' and by 'le Housyouz'; also of two parts of a meadow lying, in length, 'del Stanwal' to the Chyrnet and, in width, 'del Potwalle' to 'le Groundleswalle'; rent, to the lords of Chetelton, 2d., etc. Witnesses: William, lord of Chetelton, Richard Schyrard, and others (named). Staffordshire. Thursday before St. Thomas the Apostle, 1318.
