Description

Feoffment by Robert Whitbie of Dunham on the Hill, gentleman, to John Egerton of Egerton, knight, of the whole manor of Kirkeby Walley alias Wallezey and Liskatt, with land, fisheries, regalities, etc., to the sole and proper use of the said John, etc.; attorneys to deliver seisin, John Dodd and Ran' Palyn. Cheshire. 20 July, 2 James.  Signature of 'Robert Whitbie.' Witnesses' names endorsed; also memorandum that, 22 July 1604, 'Randole Paline one of two within named attornies did enter upon the landes within named and did cutt a clod of the soyle thereof and deliver the same and possession in the name of all the landes within mencioned," etc.
