Description

Indenture of demise by Elias Holcote, warden of the house of the scholars of Merton in Oxford, and the scholars of the same college, to Thomas Beynham, of Hendle in Arderne, for eighty years from the Purification, 17 Henry VI, at 3s. 4d. rent payable at Oxford at Michaelmas yearly, of a pasture called 'Haynlayes,' in the parish of Lapworth, the advowson of the church of Lapworth excepted. Oxford, the feast and year abovesaid. Warwickshire. Endorsed: Martyncolage.
